Orquesta Arag�n was formed on 30 September 1939, by Orestes Arag�n Cantero in Cienfuegos, Cuba.

Though they did not create the Cha-cha-cha, they were arguably the best charanga in Cuba during 1950s and 60s. Over the years they progressed from their start as a danzoneria to play a wider variety of styles, danz�n, then cha-cha-cha, then onda-cha, pachanga and son fusions. They still perform today, based in Havana.

Aunque no crearan a Cha-cha-cha, eran posiblemente mejor charanga en Cuba durante los a�os 1950 y los a�os 60. Durante los a�os progresaron desde su principio como un danzoneria para tocar una variedad m�s amplia de estilos, danz�n, cha-cha-cha, onda-cha, pachanga y fusiones del son. Todav�a actuan hoy, basado en La Habana.
