Columbian band leader Albert Barros started his career as a trombonist and arranger. Two of the bands he directs, Los Titanes and Grupo Star, were responsible for some of the finest albums to come out of Colombia in the late 1980s.

Alberto is the son of composer José Barros, who wrote the immortal cumbia "La Piragua."

This clip comes from the Canadian television show Hispanic Roots, on which Barros has appeared many times.
